#HEAD SOCCER COACH PROFESSIONAL#O Promotes and practices professional development. O Conducts performance plans and annual evaluations. Provides effective leadership for staff, including hiring, motivating, mentoring, supervising, and evaluating personnel.O Conducts meetings with at-risk student-athletes to monitor and track academic progress. O Monitors assigned student-athlete class schedules, grades, and student-athlete progress toward degree, as it impacts eligibility, academic success, and graduation. Provides academic support for student athletes.O Monitors athletic facilities and serves as liaison with off-campus facilities. O Completes annual reports such as Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA) and USG financial report. O Facilitates website and statistical updates. O Updates annually the Student-Athlete Handbook and reviews/approves all team rules. O Develops goals and evaluates the achievement of those goals. O Ensures the athletic program adheres to and stays in strict compliance with the athletic conference, Title IX rules and regulations. O Provides direct oversight of staff in order to comply with federal, state, USG, and college policies and processes. O Provides direct oversight to all offices and services within the unit and leads the development of a culture of continuous improvement throughout all functional areas of the athletics program. O Attends all relative College, GCAA, and NJCAA meetings. O Maintains orderly, clean, and safe facilities and equipment. O Ensures the athletics program is administered according to all rules and regulations of the College, GCAA, and NJCAA. Provides direct and strategic leadership for operational areas of the assigned unit, designing, and organizing unit goals and objectives, guides efforts toward expected outcomes, and evaluates results.O Provides support for traditional and special college events. O Provides direct oversight of the Office of Athletics. Establishes and maintains effective relationship with the College community and its various constituents.He/She is also expected to coordinate the athletic program in the best interest of the College. The incumbent ensures that the athletic program follows all Institutional, National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. This position is responsible for supervision of the College’s athletic program.
